A letter to my best friends before our senior year

We were told it was going to all fly by, that in a blink of an eye we would be seniors. We never believed it, but they were right. 2019 seemed so far away, and it still does. But here we are, still considering ourselves kids, planning out our whole future. There have been so many experiences that have shaped my life and I have been fortunate enough to have met so many good people. Still seems unreal to me that in 2 and a half short months, I’ll be back at Riverside as a senior! It has been an unforgettable 3 years. Through all the good times and bad, I’m lucky to have two people by my side. Gabby, after being friends since before pre-k, we still haven’t gotten sick of each other yet. Whether it was staying up late procrastinating together, doing makeup, or going through heartbreak, you did it all with me. And Nathan, thank you for saving my life so I get to experience happiness with you. Now we get to take on senior year together and watch each other become adults. It’s so scary to think it’s going to be our last year walking through the halls of Riverside High, where we’ve grown up with each other since 7th grade. Let’s promise to never take any of these moments for granted and lets be open to new experiences and opportunities. This is our last summer as high school students, so lets have fun! Here’s to one last year of Friday night lights, baseball games, seeing our classmates and teachers, being in a Riverside student section, and of course, one last year of great memories.
I love you both.
